I have a BEE in my BELLY

I have been fascinated with my belly lately! It is getting so big I just can't ignore it! Especially because Bee is an active little baby! It is so fun feeling her inside my belly! I look down and imagine what she is doing! I also look down and try to imagine what my stomach used/will eventually look like. The coolest thing is now sometimes I can feel her tiny foot pushing on me!!! Soon she will be here!

In this video you can see Bee moving!

Scott and Ashley

Scott and Ashely arrived early Tuesday morning. We had pancakes at Tom's Restaurant. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes which I was a little unsure about ordering them but they proved to be a winner! You can't go wrong with anything at Tom's! After breakfast we went to the Botanical Gardens. Here is the happy couple in the Tropical green house!Pretty!
Lots of pretty flowers!

Dinner at Amorino's! Pizza is delicious!!! I had never had oranges and mint on my pizza before!

After dinner we went to Prospect Park for the Bob Dillon Concert! It was sold out but we (along with the rest of Brooklyn) sat on the grass listened outside the stadium!!! Ashley and Scott custom made onesies (I didn't know Gerber made organic clothes!) with
"Bee"
"Miss Bruce"
"Be Green" and
"Recycle Reduce Reuse For Me."
They are so cute!

Good News and Bad News

Good News First!
Our kitchen got a makeover! Cory painted it by himself yesterday! It is green but the color didn't capture well. It is darker than it looks!

Before picture!

The bad news is while painting Cory sprained his ankle. So, for a little while he will be getting his food delivered to him in bed! More good news! David is a professional masseur and I got to experienced his miracle hands!

Cousin David and Paint

David enjoyed another day in New York! Today he went to Coney Island and swam with jelly fish. On Sunday, Cory painted our bathroom blue! I love it! The color makes me happy every time I go into the bathroom.
Our Nursery is yellow!!! Don't worry, we used No-VOC, low odor paint! I helped tape off the yellow room, but Cory completed everything else by himself! He did not want me near the fumes! Bee already has a good amount of clothes to get her started in life! The dresser is full of clothes and baby blankets!
As you can see we have just started to get Bee's room ready. It has a long way to go but we are really excited!!!
She already has a collection of toys and books!
On Monday night we went to Bryant Park's Summer Film Festival. We watched Alfred Hitchcock's "Life Boat". It was fun!
I learned that David has trouble keeping his eyes open with a camera flash!

I also learned that David snores!

We found a modern, versatile piece of furniture yesterday...

Brother Ali

Friday night we went to Brother Ali's concert. In Cory's opinion he is the greatest living rapper. While rap is not always my thing, I can say with confidence that I really like his music. After meeting him I can also say that he is a really nice guy too! We introduced him to Bee and he told us about his two kids.
It was a free concert at South Street Seaport and we thought we were going to be late, but we were not only on time, we were in the first row!
He is an albino rapper!
Video #1 Brother Ali's song "Walking Away," which is about walking away from the negative people in your life.

Video #2 Just a good song describing his experiences in Minneapolis.

Cory and I have been working non stop the past two days on the apartment. It is looking really good. The nursery and bathroom have been painted! I will be posting pictures soon. Cousin David just arrived from CA and is taking a nap before he ventures out.
