Bees Books Bubbles Swings Parks Hotels

Bee has been in the rhythm of taking two naps a day! So, we try to work around her two naps making sure she is at home during those times. She doesn't sleep so well in the stroller anymore! But I am so glad that summer is here and the weather has been great!

For the afternoon Cory, Bee and I went to Manhattan to check out the recently opened highline. The highline is a park created on old above ground train tracks. Only the first section is complete but when it is all done it will cover over 1 1/2 miles! It is a new fun way to see the city!

Tuesday morning we went to the library for the "Babies and Books" class.

Tuesday at the BBG with Bee and Felix and.....Bubbles!!!!

It was pretty windy so the bubbles were hard to catch!

The babies loved trying to grab the bubbles!

It's fun holding 2 squirmy babies! Felix is trying to escape Bee from grasping his hair! I don't blame him!

Last night we had dessert at the Chocolate Room and today Bee must have had chocolate milk!

I had a brownie sundae with chocolate sorbet, chocolate and carmel sauce, fresh whip cream and a cherry! I loved it!!! Cory had chocolate pudding!

Before 9am and after 9pm Prospect Park the dogs at get to be off their leashes! Good time for baby Bee because she loves dogs!

We found a pack of dogs that must have been in some sort of doggie club because they all had matching bandannas around their necks.

Eating dinner one night we discovered that Bee can wave bye bye! We have been teaching her signs (she does milk and light everyday) but we weren't trying to teach her this one!

Bee likes to pull herself up on everything and everyone. She discovered that she can use her crib rail to practice!

P.S. Bee's two top teething are breaking through her gums right now! Ouch! She is having trouble sleeping but hopefully they will be out soon!

It's Da Da Day!

Happy Father's Day!!!!!!!!!!

It is a very special day! It's Cory's first father's day (or da da day as Bee would say!).

I am blessed to have a great dad, a great father-in-law and a husband who is the best dad!

Thank you all so much!

For father's day I made Cory a bouquet of 2 dozen bow ties!

One of the first things Cory showed me when I walked into his room 6 years ago was his collection of vintage bow ties (that belonged to his grandpa). He loves bow ties! I wanted to make him a bow tie in many different types of fabrics and materials. Here is the first 24 I have made!

We went to our first Opera last night! I Tre Compagni (The Three Companions).

We met Aimee at the show! She is on the plane back home! We will miss her!

On the walk to the subway we went passed the Plaza Hotel. It was a beautiful misty NYC night.

A Million Stuffed Doggies

Wednesday Aimee, Bee and I went to the BBG for some good smelling roses!Bee likes the fishies!

It was Cory and my 3rd wedding anniversary. We will be celebrating together sometime next week!

Thank you so much Dad, Jill, Melissa and Jason for the delicious edible bouquet! It was sooo yummy!!!! It arrived at a perfect time! I was hungry!

It is hard to walk around FAO and not want to buy a ton of toys but I couldn't resist this one! It was on sale ofr $5 and it's name is BRUCE (blue print on hat).
