Melissa is a Star!

My sister Melissa came to New York with the Lemoore High School Choir and on Sunday night they sang at Carnegie Hall! It was awesome! The concert was great and Melissa did a great job. This is us before the concert. Cory was home with Bee and it felt weird being away from Bee. It was the farthest and longest time I have been away from her! She slept like a baby the whole time!

I can't believe she got to perform at Carnegie Hall!

Picture and video are not allowed but I couldn't resist a shot after the concert.
Here is a sound clip from Lux Aeterna (My Light).

I got a few pictures from Melissa's camera.
Chelsea, Melissa, and Jill on their first subway ride.

Sara, Melissa, Ryan, Chelsea, Philip, and Scott at Rockefeller Center.
The sign in front of Carnegie Hall. You can see that it says Lemoore High School Choir, CA!

So, Melissa's school group left this morning but she get's to stay until Wednesday morning with us! Here she is with Bee this morning!

It is so fun having her stay with us!

A little walk to Grand Army Plaza before Melissa, Bee and I hopped on the subway for Manhattan.

Our first stop...F.A.O. Schwarz! For the three of us it was our first time on the piano! Bee was so light I had to help her light up the keys.

Melissa on the piano!Bee was facinated with the Big Red Dog! Bee loved the toy store! She squealed with delight as we looked at everything! We will definitely be going back! I bought her a cloth book (from the Eebees) and her aunty Melissa bought her a stuffed Clifford Dog. A little smaller than this one! It is her first stuffed animal from F.A.O. but not the last!

Bee's first rocking horse experience!

Bee is on a duck.We went to the Disney store!

Super Bee can talk!

Bee says daddy!

I can't remember where I got this strawberry outfit but it still had the tags on it and it is pretty old. This seems like an outfit I would have worn in the 80s!Berry was my top choice for a middle name. BBB!

Bryna (Felix's mommy) bought us all super hero onesies from a man who makes them here in Brooklyn. We planned on wearing them for our weekly hangout and so I made them some superhero accessories! Bee's cape was on old silk skirt I never wore!
What I thought was interesting was that the onesies were all 3-6 month size! They all fit! Bee's just fits a little more like spandex.
I don't know if I need to mention this but I think Super Bee is super cute!

After taking pictures of our baby super hero's Bryna, Michelle and I went on a walk. It felt like a warm summer day! The park was full of people. We ran into some other mommies that we knew. Here baby Leonardo (who is a week only but can crawl!) crawls over to Baby Bee. If Bee stays this cute she is going to have to get used to boys making their move!

Bee looks cute in her shirt and jeans! Aunty Shelley gave Bee this shirt to us when I was pregnant! I thought it was perfect for her to wear because the night before this picture was taken Bee kept waking up so no one was sleeping!
Bee is about 5 1/2 but we wanted to celebrate her 6month b-day a little early with some presents that Cory bought her a long time ago! She loves toys!

Smiles, Skates, Games, Books, Dots, Parks

Bee loves her cloth books! She will play with them for a long time!!! This red one is her favorite!

This is a fun book! It has mirrors on the pages and it very fitting for Bee!
The last round of naked pictures were taken with a low quality setting on our camera. I didn't realize I had changed it. So, Cory wanted me to take some more! Bee didn't mind at all!

Bee in a polka dot onesie that her Mimi gave her!

It's good that all she needs is Love because that is what we have for her!
Daddy Cory has been working hard in his studio this past week! He turned out living room into a green screen studio for his work. I learned that proper lighting is the most important thing about green screening. If we have time today we are going to play with Bee in the screen screen room.
This was not green screened. Bee is actually in Prospect Park. We found a hill that we really like and we named it "The Bee Hill." We are excited that the weather keeps getting warmer!

Cute picture of a father and daughter! It is really fun now that Bee doesn't freeze up when she sees the camera. I didn't think taking pictures of her could get even funner!
Bee has a quick snack after her bath!
Baby Bee in the daddy pack.
On our walk yesterday we found a vintage pair of roller skates in just my size! They even had a package of new skating laces in the package. Cory laced and oiled them and I was off! We had fun reminiscing of good old Roller Town in Visalia!
Uncle Nathan has a mohawk so Bee wanted one too! I made up a game called the "crane game." This one doesn't take quarters.

Green Day followed by Naked Day

Last Sunday after church we watched the Brooklyn St. Patricks Day Parade. It was the best Parade because we got to walk against the parade (seeing it in fast motion) and it was on our walk home! In Manhattan when you watch a parade you can barely see the parade much less walk the sidewalks!

Some of our church friends!
Lots of Bagpipes!
Not sure what is happening here. Poor little girls.
I noticed a lot of people wearing knitted sweaters. I call them Grandma Asta sweaters because she used to make ones just like it. In fact I have a couple but I din't know it was an Irish thing.

This dog was huge! It is hard to tell by this picture but he looked like a bear!

Bee and I on St. Paticks Day dressed all in green. Marlene Bee is wearing the long sleeved onsie that you sent. I thought it might be big on her since is is 9mo size but it fit her great! Bee is sure getting big! After the park I went to Bryna's house for our weekly get together. We sewed babylegs out of our old socks.
Bee in her birthday suit for a photo shoot! She is a happy girl!
Guess who this is? It is Daddy Cory of course!
