Reunited at Last!

Yesterday (Wednesday 5/21) We headed into the city for the afternoon. I had a dentist appointment at 3pm but we went early to hang out. We took the Q train to Canal Street. Cory went walking with Bee while I went and scoped out a couple of fabric/craft stores I had heard about. They had everything I could possible want and more!

We ate at the NYC Dosa Man in Washington Square Park.

Washington Square Park just reopened after being renovated since 2007. They moved the fountain less than 10ft to line it up with the arch. The fountain is a lot of fun on a warm day! Very refreshing!

We had dinner at James. Yummy. I didn't want the meal to end it was so good.

Then dessert at the Chocolate Room.

Wednesday we went to the Jamacia Bay Wildlife Refuge. Living here are over 350 species of birds. We saw and heard lots of birdies!

Go Veggies!

We went to the West Village for the Veggie Pride Parade Sunday afternoon!

We thought it would be a bunch of colorful veggie costumes supporting eating vegetables but it was more of a meat protest.

Had I found out about it earlier, I would have made us all veggie costumes. Instead I just made Bee a potatoe costume from materials at home. She didn't wear it because it was her nap time during the parade and she slept in the ergo as we walked. Not pictured is her potatoe onesie and this is her lil' spud skirt!

We got off of the parade route to stop at a highly rated vegetarian restaurant we have been wanting to go to.

There were 15 babies in a Brooklyn apartment! Not bad!

Bee loves getting together with other babies because she loves playing with new toys. In this picture you can tell she really wants to get back on the floor! It is fun watching babies interact with other babies. It is the only time in her life she can pull other girl's hair and other babies can push her over with no one getting in trouble! Good times!

B x 4 = Bee 4 everyone!

Thank you Marlene, Lyle, Grandma Lois and Grandpa Clayton for my awesome Mother's Day book! I have never been published like this before! I will cherish this book forever!!! Bee loves it too! I made a short video clip of Bee and the book. It is hardcover and has 20 pages filled with pictures of Bee and me of our first 6 months together. In the video I think I skipped a few pages. At the end of the video you can see a cranky Bee rock back and forth. She can't do the traditional crawl yet but she did army crawl yesterday.

I met up with Astrid and Bryna at the Children's Museum on Wednesday. Bee has a great time with all of the fun toys and other baby's to look at!
Bee did not know what to think! From her perspective she saw her mommy everywhere! It would be fun if I had Bee's to spare! One for NY...two for California, and one for a secret mission!
