The Honeymooners
Cory and I went to Manhattan for a honeymoon weekend.
Our subletters moved out early so we had our old apartment for a couple of nights.
So, Friday night we lived it up in the big city.
We walked for miles enjoying each other's company as we reminisced of our year in New York.
It was wonderful.
We found a falafel place that lets you add whatever you want to the top.
I had so much fun Friday that Saturday morning I woke up with a cold.
I am still all stuffed up and to make it worse, Cory is not feeling well also.
We had two hours before I had to be at work so we walked to Union Square and went to the garden festival.
We got a lot of seeds to plant in our backyard.
It is so exciting to have a backyard.
We never thought we would have one in New York.
Sunday, we went to church and then we went and had lunch at Tavern on the Green in Central Park.
Thanks to Shelley and Grandma for the gift certificate.
Spring is the best time of year!
All of the trees are blooming and there are so many beatiful tulips.
Spring is even more of a blessing after our long winter we just had.
The winter seemed to last forever over here.
You Californians have it good.
It is now Sunday night and we are back in our new apartment. We do not have to give up our keys to the old place until tomorrow but we wanted to be back home. It was weird staying at our old place. It feels like ages ago instead of just weeks that we were living there. That apartment is tiny!!!
