1 Month with Bee

Baby Bee turned One Month Old on Thursday November 13th! Wow, what a month this has been.
Bee is getting so smart! We have been getting to really getting to enjoy Bee the past couple of days because at least for the time being we have been having an easier time with everything! She is eating, burping and sleeping better! Yesterday she was all smiles! I wish I had gotten a video of Bee smiling at her daddy!

10 Pounds? We won't throw this fish back!

Yea for Bee! She went for her 1 month check-up on Monday and the doctor said she is doing great! She weighed 9 1lb 15 3/4 oz and was 22 in long!
The doctor confirmed that her left eye has a clogged tear duct. This just means that her eyes don't drain properly and will get eye boogers easily. Fortunately it will fix itself in time! Until then mommy gets to wipe boogies away!
Joe "The Godfather" got back from his stay in Portland (where he was acting in a play) and met Bee for the first time!
Jessica and Joe brought us dinner!
I took this picture of Bee this morning. She looks so concerned! Cory and I have noticed that she is looking at us a lot more! It is so exciting for us to watch her grow and change everyday!

Yesterday we went to my mom's group meeting and then to a breastfeeding class. It was the smoothest outing we have had! I enjoyed getting to talk to the other moms. Good job Bee! However, yesterday evening she was quite fussy. Maybe she had to much fun during the day!

Honey Bee

Bee is growing bigger and bigger each day! She is so much fun! I have been getting a little more sleep at night too! I am still very tired but we are all doing good. After a few baby trips out to Manhattan I realized that we are not ready for big trips, so we have been staying at home more. We have had 2 1/2 days of no throw ups!!! I know that all babies spit up and throw up but I don't like when she loses her whole meal. To help we try and keep her upright after meals and I also eliminated possible trigger foods out of my diet. I think it is really helping .

4 happy places for Bee.
1. Mommies shoulder

2. Mommies Milk
3. Her changing table
I can't believe how long she is getting!
4. Daddy's Arms
Bee's Photo Shoot
Her onesie is an original design by Uncle Nathan.

When Bee is old enough we are going to try to teach her baby sign language. But it looks like she is already practicing. Peace or...is she counting already?

Bee can't wait to meet more of her family but frequently chats with them on the internet. Her she is talking with Grandma Marlene and Grandpa Lyle!

I went on my first solo walk today! It was weird. I felt so alone!

I love the trees this time of year. I can't wait to walk to the park!

My Bee-Day

Thursday November 6th was my 28th BirthDay. This year my birthday is really, really special to me because we just had Bee's BirthDay.
I miss my mom so much. I was a hard 30 hour labor that ended with a vacuum just like Bee. I hope that I will be a great mom like my mom was for me!
Thank you mom and dad for everything. I can't wait to see my dad next week. Dad and Jill will be coming to spend 4 days with us in Brooklyn!!!
For my birthday I wanted to say inside rather than go out like most people. So, Bee and Cory and I had a nice day! Bee and I both took our baths than sat down to take a birthday picture when Bee decided to give me her present. She re-gifted her dinner I had given her an hour earlier! Wasn't that nice! We have been dealing with a reflux issue with her but this throw-up was a surprise because it came along time after she ate.
I wanted to show her the cool cupcake book Lyle and Marlene had given me! I want to be the cool mom who makes cupcakes all the time!
Earlier that Day Cory went to Target for me to get some things, including new nursing bras! You know you have a great husband when he will go buy nursing bras for you! I am wearing my new nursing tank. He also surprised me (and Bee) with new "baby leggings." She loves them! That morning I was telling her about how I wanted to get some for her but we Cory didn't know this, so it was neat that just happened to get them for us!
I got my hair cut the other day and I wish I had a picture of it because it looked good then. They cut my bangs on an angle and now they just look crooked! Having a newborn has been the hardest thing, but I could only imagine what it would be like with other kids to take care of! Mothers are the best!

I wish I could spend just one more day with my mom! I would ask her so many questions!

My dad is a hunk!
Baby Annie with Grandma Asta!
I am not in this picture but I just really like it!
I am inside her belly!
Thank you family for raising me right!
While I was going through the pictures I have on the computer I found this one of baby Cory and Marlene! I love it! I will also mention that I have the world's greatest In-Laws!!!

Grandma-To-Bee

It was a wonderful week having Bee's Grandma Marlene around. It was hard to see her leave yesterday. We already miss her! Bee had so much fun with her and she helped us so much. Cory only had to change one diaper the whole week and my sleep increased by 100%.

Marlene, Thank you so much for everything! You are an awesome Grandma!

Story Time!
If you give a Bee a Grandma Marlene...

Bee's First Halloween!

Sorry I left you all hanging with new pictures of Bee. I have been just a little busy lately! As I am in a time crunch I will not be re-ordering the pictures. They are in reverse order!

This picture was taken just minutes ago!

Bee wearing a halloween outfit a little early. This outfit was from Kerry and the girls! I was afraid she wouldn't fit in it by Halloween (she still does) because she is growing so fast! This past Tuesday she already weight 9 lbs 1 oz!!!
