Adventure Annie

Adventure Annie has returned from Maine. I was on a "Adventure Bound" trip with 54 students. It was amazing. This morning I was white water rafting. I am on the front left side of the boat. (on your right). These pictures are from the "Adventure Bound" website.

I did not have my camera with me at all. I am regretting this off course, so please use your imagination. I will try to get some pictures from some of the students. These pictures are from the "Adventure Bound" website.

I can't even begin to describe how must of an amazing opportunity it was to be with my 30 new students and also the returning students while participating in exciting adventures. I already know my students names and their personalities. "Adventure Bound" is a youth program that is so wonderful.
The first day we had dinner, played bored games and went to sleep in our cabins. I stayed in a cabin with 7 other girl students.
The next day we played fun team games on the lawn, then we broke into groups of 9 where we participated in obstacles that we had to work together as a team to complete. After lunch we then went on a ropes course. The first two was the "tight rope" and "cat walk." Then we were onto the "superman" and finaly the giant swing. The swing was my favorite because you were flying through the air in between a forest of trees. Amazing. The next day we traveled to the river to go rock climbing. After paddling to the other side of the river we spend the morning on the side of a huge cliff. I climbed a really tough rock. It was so hard but it was amazing to get to the top. Next, I rappeled down the side of the cliff. Again, words (at least not mine) can begin to desribe how much fun it was. Everthing we did was also so beautiful. This trip was incredible and on of my most amazing experiences I have ever had. This school year is off to a great start.

More California Pictures

Callie stole me heart the second I saw her. I love her so much.

Wow, take a look at those flowers. This picture was not edited. I had never seen a flower garden quite like this. I want to know the name of those flowers.

Cory is the fire man!

Melissa and her baby Tessa! Melissa and I played on our first softball team together and just about everyone other team since then. I will join her on the baby team at a much later date.

I have a little obsession with horses and this guy is no exception. I think he liked me too!

Fresno Pacific Reunion. From left to right. Rebecca and her daughter Lily, Ivana (married), Tyler (due in December), Me, Andrea (son Brady and expecting), Amanda (married), and Andrea (engaged). We ate at BJ's Brewery and I ordered a pizza. It was awesome. Thanks to Mallory for suggesting it.
If in doubt, throw it out.

Cory and Grandpa Clayton.

Brady Nathan will climb anything and everything.
I can't believe how fast he is growing!

Still more CA pictures to follow.

Yes, we are alive. We just haven't blogged for a while. We were in California and now we are back but we have been really busy. We have so many pictures and stories to tell. Here are a few pics to get you started. More to follow.
Here are some of my family members at church. Lyle, Papa Tom, Marlene, Grandma Asta, Jill, Me, Robert, and Melissa.
Oh deer!

Our friends Michael and Allyson gave us a gift certificate for horseback riding on Pebble Beach. It was wonderful!
