Park Slope

Yesterday, Cory and I traveled to Park Slope in Brooklyn. We went and walked through the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. We weren't planning on going today even though we have heard good things about the place but we were right in front and noticed that the was free admission for the winter. It was a winter wonderland. I felt like I was walking through a snow covered secret garden high up in the mountains. I definitely will be going backt to see what the gardens look like when things are growing but it was a wonderful walk. I wanted to have my picture taken in front of the rose garden. I even took a picture of the rose garden from above and I can't wait to take another picture in the spring. The creek that runs through the park was frozen!
After the garden we continued to walk through Park Slope (one of the nicest neighborhoods in Brooklyn). We went to the coffee shop where two of Cory's friends work at and we had quiche and green tea. While talking to his friends Cory found out that Joe Sousa had to go to the hospital last night. He works as a doorman and was retrieving luggage from a limo when the limo drive unknowingly slammed the door on his head. To make a long story short...Joe has a staple in his head but will recover, his work is covering all of the medical bills and will be suing the limo company. We found a bag full of clothes in front of a house in Park tht contained a Dolce and Gabbana bra. I feel fancy in expensive bras! Don't worry, we are protected. The nice state (the state that feels that they have enough kids and aids) of New York now gives away condom's with their own logo on them. Could you imagine if all of the states started doing this. Instead of quarters everyone could collect condoms!

There should be buckets of them at every high school in Kings County. These kids need to wrap it up!
